Petite histoire du guéridon
Apparu au XVIIe siècle, le guéridon tire son nom d'un personnage de ballet, "Guéridon", qui tenait un flambeau. Initialement conçu comme un support pour l'éclairage (bougeoirs, lampes), ce petit meuble d'appoint se distingue par son plateau circulaire reposant sur un piétement central unique. Qu’il soit de style Empire en acajou massif ou Seventies en rotin, il s'adapte à tous les intérieurs comme bout de canapé ou table de présentation. Aujourd'hui, il reste la pièce maîtresse pour structurer un coin lecture avec élégance et légèreté.
