A brief history of the Scandinavian sideboard
It was in the 1950s that the first Scandinavian sideboards appeared. The Scandinavian style sideboard is part of the innovative post-war furniture. Its aerial lines and rectilinear volumes reflect the sober style of modernist inspiration, with all the characteristics of Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish designers... The Scandinavian sideboard is made of traditional cabinetmaking, generally teak wood. It is used as a replacement for the traditional dining room buffet and now serves as a console. For a designer and pleasant living room, the sideboard is the perfect piece of furniture!
